Default why is this still sitting?

ive saw this car quite alot its been advertised on ebay for at least 6 months

i cant understand why it isnt snapped up by now?

although a few things would worry me it says there are 10,300 miles although the header tank is quite dark the steering wheel is quite worn but apart from that the interior seats paintwork and everything in general is outstanding!

what can people tell me about this car?

no idea why. seems a good car at reasonable price. seller has 100% feedback. there are a lot of messers on ebay at the moment so maybe it is just that.

so its likely over 100k then unless proof to the contary.

driven 1988 -2000 and 2010-2012. so 14 years on the road if we believe the story.

I suspect he entered the mileage wrong as if you add a zero to the ebay mileage, youd get 103000 which matches what the dials say give or take the 134 miles driven over last few months its been on sale.

He said little needed doing, but doesnt say he corrected the rust so expect a fair bit of rust, some shockers to discover underneath plus rubbers and bushes about to collapse due to being stood so long.

So probably why its not sold

Very true. All good points made and tbh I think your right about the milage although anything that may be wrong with the car would be minor. Bushes would be £200? Has the car been mot'd and if it has been sprayed it looks good. I knew to look at the steering wheel and stuff that the milage wasn't right although is 100k a lot for a cozzy? Are they tempermental?

Looks lovely.
100k odd is nothing for one of that age.
If its been garaged my guess is it could have survived ok,but like anything else go and look and decide for yourself.

Too many fools hung up on mileage mate,it really does make me chuckle,I remember these cars being clocked back in the 90's having done 80-90k then so if it's on 100k and drives well that's all that counts.
If its been cared for then the miles shouldn't matter, same as any car really.

I do agree all the little things make so much of a difference. Such as jacking point covers centre in the grille etcc this looks to be a really straight car with little tampering but tbh if you had this car would you leave it standard? I just can't believe its sat for so long. If I had this money to spare I'd snap it up. I see doses going for £3500 £4000 with ripped interior saggy bumpers etcc. I'd love to see this car sold on to somebody who will look after it and not to the breakers. Imo its to good to break

The same car that's been asked about on the RSOC, it may only be 100k but with no history! Only MOTs, so you've no idea what you're buying!

That's why its still about... looks good, but the guy knows nothing about it and nothing to prove what's been done!

its a lovely looking car in the pics, but am i right in thinking that essentially anyone can say they have had their car off the road for ten years, loose ten years worth of MOT certs. then wind the mileage back accordingly and basically wipe out ten years of the cars life and present it as a 'rare barn find' for example,
theres just not enough info about the car in that add, its all about a story of how the seller ended up with the car.
