How many sapphire cosworths were made in black
Hi I have just bought a black 4x4 j reg sapphire cosworth and is just wondering how many we're made in black could any one shed some light please

 

mine is ebony black and i was told buy the 4x4 registar years ago that approx 400 and 200 in solid factory black and they were made in 2wd and 4x4 where as ebony black is only on the 4x4

 

I have a black 2wd. There was another thread on here a few months back about how many black sapphire cosworths still existing.

 

I reckon that the 3dr's and rwd Sapph's were only Gloss Black, whereas 4x4's were Ebony Black.

 

I wonder my old gloss black saff is now F666 BEW hope it's still alive

 

I have a genuine gloss black 4x4' should say zwartz on the slam panel plate

 

mine too is zwartz 4x4 sapphire

Zwartz is Metallic not the rare flat black as found in 2WD Sapphs

tbh ive not checked but mine is defo gloss black not metallic block going to go confirm now lol

Schwartz = black.
Diamond Schwartz = sparkley black

Get the torch out LOL!

 

I've not checked lately either. Thinking about it the plate might say Schwartz. It is gloss black whatever the plate says.

Should have belonged to a bloke to Paul, that car. If it is the one I think it is, you need to do a couple of things to it. PM me if so.

It will be solid black and needs a good compounding. I was going to do it for him, but he put it up for sale before we got the chance. I can give you some help with products to make it look like a mirror and stay like it as well.
