mate has a 1998 A4 1.8 petrol just died on him on way home from work.. has anyone had this happen to them or what could be the problem we are putting it down to the igination or electric's? thanks for your help, hugh

 

any more info ?? could be absolutley anything, fuel pump, coil, ignition, does it still turn over ?? has cam belt gone ??

 

Really need a lot more info than that mate.

Could be anything from being run out of fuel to throwing a rod and any number of things in the middle.
