Default Sparks coming from the exhaust

I've recently bought a 2002 Fiesta 1.8TD with a genuine 30.000 on the clock. On my way back from work and on the motorway this evening I've noticed sparks coming out of the exhaust.

Can anyone tell me what it could be???

Could well be exhaust material breaking up or if the mileage is so low it could be really carbon'd up and the heat from a motorway run is blasting all the shit out of it!

If indeed it is badly coked up then you could try putting some of that redex diesel treatment into it as it is supposed to help quite a bit.

Well this indicates that carbon build up spitting out after the engine is red hot. or it may be your engine pistons rings are need to be replace. Can you tell how long you have change them or some millage. Thanks
