Default Got one of those G-Tech Pro meter things!

Hi i recently saw those G-tech pro meters on eBay that says measure your BHP and 0-60 Times etc, and thought what most people do...SHIT

But then the same company put on the uprated version with a screen and software connection to your PC allowing Dyno plots etc.

So i had sum money in paypal account and brought one (200 quid).

Quite surpized today when it came, so i gave it a go!,

Couldnt really test it my turbo due to runnnig in and have no idea of the power yet so i tried it in standard cars to see how accurate it was, bloody accurate aswell!! couldnt believe it!,

First i tried it in my girlfriends dads Omega 2.5v6 book in at (170bhp standard). The gtech came up with 172.8 bhp and after 4 attemps all my readings were around 171 to 173bhp!!.

So next i tried it in my missus Punto GT Turbo, 136bhp standard, just have a K&N,. The g-tech meter came up with 131 bhp, and the cars down on boost at the moment due to fooked actuator!.

The software (PASS) is quite good aswell u get with it, just thought id let u all know incase u were thinking of buying one!, saves rolling road money!

If any of u wont more info about them just ask me.

Yes mate you can, there is a selection for US or metric which is KM/H

BHP or KW,

Its also a selection on the PASS software aswell so the dyno plots can be viewed in KM/H aswell as KW

I think they are not bad, it will use the same accelerometer "G - sensor".
I guess the dsp (program) will be similar, so the only downside will be the lack of logging facilities.
I recon it will be quite accurate.

The eBayer who i got mine off sells far more of the 40 quid ones and hasnt had a negative so far,

The one i got gives graphs of bhp to rpm, HP vs time,RPMS,Speed, Gs and braking distance all viewable in car, then u can download them to your pc, heres my mate robs mr2 turbo graph in the PASS software
