I have read it as I say people will use it to con people dosent mean its not safe to use if you send money or buy from some one you trust! ive used it a fair few times now! I get emails from the Halifax saying you need to send us all your details to up date your account and I don't have an account with them dose this mean you cant trust the Halifax lol now im not saying send money to some random request or anything stupid like that as its a con but that's not the banks fault is it

Why doesn't this site have a feature where new members need to be confirmed by a moderator before their registration is completed. It would certainly help in weeding out the scammers.

why would you??

do you realise what the purpose of western union money sending services are for??

they are designed for you to send money to countries where the recipient doesnt have access to modern banking facilities.

ie most third world countries and some areas of 2nd world countries and some embargoed countries.

it has no place in modern westernised countries for legally sending money as it has been superceeded by the ability to transfer money safely and quickly for free between normal banking accounts.

In westernised countries even poor people or criminals can get access to a basic account with the facility to recieve direct transfers.

so why the fuck would you send money via western union???

These days it is universally known for scams and as a method of laundering money.

The kind of people abroad who are selling items internationally will have a legitimate bank account that can recieve direct transfers.

so why send by western union??

no reason i can see especially if you are talking about modern goods or car parts etc.

you still havent answered why you cant transfer through a normal bank??

Thailand is a modern country so why not send it via internet banking?? far more traceable and safer.

basically anyone that uses this service does so at their own risk so feel free to ignore the warnings at your own peril, but if any sales go pear shaped then don't expect an ounce of sympathy, if you know and trust the person your sending the money to then fair enough, but western union has no customer safeguard if you get conned

i've had 3 scammers lately. usually when a post placed in parts wanted. they always have the parts, no pics though, and want to be paid by western union or moneygram. it is not these company's who have any blame in this. in fairnesss to pf, every time i reported the user was immediately banned. we all need to be carefull on here or any other forum.

im sorry but WTF.
Alot of people on here that use paypal send via gift so thay have no rights to claim the money back.
Dont say you dont as i sold most of my two focus on here and every paypal payment was sent as a gift and it wasnt like thay was Ł10 parts 99% of them started at 100+

So to point out that if someones selling something and wants pay via western union is a scam is horse shit. The clue should be in the price and if there new on here which normaly if its to good to be true then it is and if someones new i really wouldnt by from them even with protection and last time i checked if you have been scamed using your bank your bank will refund the money for you if its done by cash then your fucked but theres always something to fall back on and really speaking your most likey to be scammed by your internet provider than beening on the internet.
saying upto 20mb but then saying your line can only handle 12mb is fair but knowing limiting lines to less tha 5mb and telling people that thay can have 12 is a scam. Which talktalk is current under investergtion for by trading standards and soon to be sky lol.

I have a mk5 fiesta zetec s and it's knocking from the passenger side, I changed the wishbones the drop links and trackrod ends plus I had the wheel bearings checked and they are fine, but it only started knocking after I had new breaks put on, any ideas?
