Guys,

got my stat off the cosworth, 4x4 stat and housing.

I bought the stat from Graham Goode and bought the o ring to go with.

I have taken my old stat off which states wax something on it, no sign of a o ring... and I cannot work out where this O ring goes too?

Can anyone help please?

 

ahh right ok, just watched a video on yourtube for a subaru cosworth thermostat which looks just like mine, the guy said the gasket is built into the thermostat... which would explain the old one not having a o ring and me not being able to find the place for this o ring....

 

The o ring goes between the housing and the head surely?
