all in only cost £300 thats primer and paint.

that is a LOT of overspray, get used to setting a spray gun up and that will reduce significantly cant comment on the job quality from that photo but well done for haveing a go and remember ANYONE can paint a car, its the preperation and after finishing that takes skill lol

 

a friend painted it with his new devilbliss gti never used it before, finish is amazing straight out the gun cant wait to see it mopped. prep work was done by myself and my mate and it was bang.

there available in all sizes on eBay dirt cheep, this is how i am going to spray my ride next week, to keep the over spray down you need to make the booth negative pressure seal off all air gaps run a big extractor fan up top, and a filtered inlet

It was a bargain off eBay still pick them up between £50 and £100. My mates just bought a mint pop up gazebo for his detailing coast £250 but its worth paying the extra if you've got it.

Yea it would be good to get an extractor in there, since we did my car we've blocked all gaps at the bottom and working on sealing other gaps. Think my mates v8 sierra is next to be painted.

 

Should be getting mopped soon, ill get some pics then.

 

I have had the same; I always use to sprayed in my garage, I have always just hung sheets over everything. But I did find with the red spray, it did the same as yours; covered every thing. Never had to much problem with any other colours and with white I never had any over spray around the garage to write home about, just as well as white was the colour I used the most. I do not spray any more. I now do both my escort combis by hand in army camo. Nice makeshift spray bay... Cheers Pete
