just a quick question....
i jacked up the front off my mk3 today to clean the front brake caliper ....
since lowering it back down...i have issues..
1.drove down road to test the brakes and the rear drivers spring popped out off place..got back and noticed who ever as lowerd it as also cut a coil off the springs.......i put it back in its place....

its the first time ive drivin it today,,,but feels wrong feels like it wants to drift and the steering is like a boat......... anyones advice would be grateful as its my daily runner.feels really unstable to drive ?

 

if there is clear evidence of spring cutting your first port of call surely is a correct set of springs be them std or lowered

 

As above get some proper lowering springs the ones you have could be dangerous

When was the last time it had shockers.Get the tracking checked too.

 

i dont have a clue bud...i got the car just 6days ago....its a b reg matt black cabby s1 turbo body kit.white wheels...il go over g.s escorts in widnes he should have some shocks and springs....it just feels really bad.like the back end wants to drift feels like im counter steering it all the time....il try shocks first cheers bud
