Always kinda liked wheeler dealers, can't stand mike brewer, if they got rid of him and put someone on who didn't think they were gods gift to cars sales it would be 10 times better.

 

I think most of the recent restorations have been really good minus a couple but generally the quality has been good.

Mk1 Escort, i think Mike needs to do his homework before he buy's one as his budget with have to be generous to say the least, plus the purist will tear it apart if not correct

Can't wait..... As mike is such a 'wheeler dealer' he will probably sell the mint original trim for a fiver and bolt in some shite from halfords to give it a 'more modern feel'

Still be interesting to watch though...... And I tell you what...... It ain't as bad as strippers cars for cash on national geographic.... They stripped a cabriolet last week and let a set of rs 7s with mint tyres go for 200.....bell ends!!

 

That Strippers for Cash programme thing is filmed @ Pick-A-Part in Erith if anyone finds out when they are filming.

 

Just been on pick a parts website and they have a sierra estate if anyone is interested..... Nothing else interesting though...

The Sierra Estate is scrap. LX model with mould all over interior (what is left in a recognisable form), all side mouldings are different. All doors badly dented or rusting from inside, not worth keeping in the yard IMO. They do have some nice cars in their other storage yard round the corner waiting to come in though.

they advertise the cars and sell them about 6 months before the program airs so unless you were looking for a model that they happened to sell youd struggle to buy one

im sad enough to know they were going to do a delorean about a year before it went on the tv

 

Brewer drinks in a pub near me from time to time, next time i see him i will ask. He is an ok guy to chat to TBH, he said they have to do certain things in the show that he doesnt agree on ect ect........its a production thing he said

 

Yeah to be fair hes done a few talks at classic shows I have been to seems like a fairly sound guy with good enthusiasm for the scene so BIG UP TO THE BLOKE..... BUT IT IS amazing how tv can portray you as a bell end!..... Dam those production folk
