i have for sale a 1989 escort rs turbo. i bought the car 18 months ago with the intention to getting it on the road. due to my partner and i just having a baby and lack of time and money this hasnt been possible so its time to go. the car is in great condition body wise, buts it the engine ehat lets it down its down on compression but starts and runs fine just a little lumpy. the engine isnt standard, it has a kent cam,pro alloy rad and intercooler with kenlow fan, full stainless exhaust with 3.5"tip, air filter, dump valve few bits of chrome. the car is lowered all round on koni shocks and springs, strut brace, poly bushes, standard brakes which could do with looking at but i do have a pair of cossie 2wd front calipers with 288mm discs to go with the car, its sat on a set of 15" team dynamics pro races 2's. not long moved house and so far cant find the log book, i have the new owner slip with my name on. ive been as honest as i can about the car. looking for £850

If you've got the time and space you could break it and get far more than £850 for it. I'm surprised somebody hasn't already had it off you to do exactly that.

Ebay is shite nowadays! it used to be a good place to sell stuff but nobody really has spare money or if they do they are scared to spend it! looks like a decent project for someone!

 

A bit of tlc and this would be a good car.

Nice one for selling the car to Baz, i don't know if he told you what the car was for? but he's robbing the car of bits to complete the build on the car he had painted up here years ago and still not rebuilt as he lost loads of the parts over the years. Spoke to him this morning and he said it goes well and is stripping it today.
