Hi peeps i have recently dumped the jap scene and come back to the good ol headache of cossie's, im trying to find out though if anyone has fitted evo brembo's to a 4x4 cossie, and if so was it a hastle of a job to do, any info would be great they are going to be fitted with the RS7's.

 

Check coleyst200's thread in the resto section he has fitted them to his focus running full 4x4 drive train.
I'm sure the bracket to carry the caliper is pretty straight forward to make .
Think there's a little Dremel work for clearence on the caliper

I tried all sorts to get brembos behind rs7 spokes but it wasn't ever going to happen unfortunately,

 

Are they the type found on the Evo 5-9? The ones with the 320mm front disc and 300mm rear I believe.
Same as I have ready to fit to my fiesta - the rears have no handbrake mech, so that's something to consider.
I'd have thought a mk1 focus RS disc would work on the front. The spacing on the mounting holes is different to the RS Brembo's, so don't try using brackets for those.

 

i fitted evo 8 callipers front and rear to my 3dr with frs front discs and st170 rear discs.

but that was 2wd, so i dunno about the 4x4, sorry!

As said the RS 7 spokes are a nice wheel but even the std 2wd brakes require a 5mm spacer for them to clear so many aftermarket brakeset ups will just not fit.

The fronts are 355mm mate, not sure on the rears

 

Thats me on a downer now then lol.
