Has anyone had a sapphire with heated recaros? could it be possible to make a normal leather recaro heated? cheers andrew

 

i would think most cossies don't get used in the winter but would be interesting to know

 

you could get the heat pads, wiring and switches from a granada scorpio and fit them all in, the swtches would sit in the correct place in the centre console

Only European Cosworths had them. As Mr Youth says, it's not too hard to fit them if you really want.

 

I have fitted some universal heating pads to my cloth recaros. As far as I know sapphs never had heated recaros. The half leather recaros from later (bug-eye) Scorpios are heated as standard though.

 

surprised it wasnt an option, but my granada has leather and the heated seats option has been deleted by ford. standard on cloth trim granada ghia.

 

Could you get heated seats on the old V6 XR4i? ISTR seeing one with them and also aircon some years back?

 

I don't know. I think the manual from my car says heated seats were only an option for Scandinavia I think.

 

I used to have an XR4i and I remembered looking at one for sale that had a heated seat. They weren't Recaros but it looked factory - whether or not it was or a dealer fit I don't know.

heated seats were an option on xr4i.

 

I've just had heated seat elements fitted to audi rs2 electric recaro's, we used the elements out of heated audi seats, cheap and easy to find.
