its pritty awsum , you can modify yourself or auto upgrade/ paintshop and lots of vinal`s to choose from its quite addictive

 

The multieplayer playground is so much fun

 

I had a go on the demo and wasn't impressed too much, but maybe I'll hire it out for a few days to see what the full game is like. I'd been looking forward to it coming out, can you import any of your own stuff from Forza 4?

 

You can't import your cars which is a shame

I wasn't impressed at first and I don't think it's a replacement for Forza 4 which is circuit based but it is good fun for blasting about

 

It is a more arcadey bit of fun racing game that uses the forza physics engine but slightly tweaked to make for a more simple experience for new comers.

It was made by playground games, which employ a few people who worked on the "dirt" series, with Turn10 having direction over the game.

This is not forza 5. Turn 10 are making forza 5, they just wanted to try something different and give something for people to play while 5 is being made.

I personally think its good fun. With all assists turned off its not too arcade like. Plus thrashing around open roads weaving traffic in my 600+bhp RS200 is serious fun

Only vinyl groups. If you want whole car designs, you need to save them as vinyl groups first, then you can import them.

As for cars, you cant. But you can get reward cars depending on what level you are in Forza4. If you are level 50 or above, you get them all (Gumpert Apollo, Aventador, DS3, Mini, Camaro SS ......)

 

I'm a bit disappointed with this one to be honest.
Finished all the offline stuff in a couple of days, even on 'hard' (lol, i'm off sick at the mo)

There's also a really poor selection of cars compared to Forza 4.
Giving us all the cars we were used to starting with in the DLC seems a bit cheeky to me!

Online is looking up tho, playground/freeroam can be a laugh if you're not surrounded by noobs!

Completed it last night lol

 

I've rented it for a few nights, the offline stuff gets a bit boring after a while but online seems to be fun, apart from the tards who just punt you off every few seconds, much like Forza 4 in that respect.

I was in a game last night where people are 'trolling' the speed traps etc, to stop you getting the challenges/records.

Guess that's just the glory of the internet.

 

Cool beans, had a couple of club requests last night but from jap car clubs... Waited to see if any other PF nutters would start a club..

Anyone noticed that some of the cars you race against you can't buy them ? I.e you can buy the old and new mini but not the speedster.

I think they get gifted to you or won in competitions from turn 10, bit like Forza 4.
