I have seen posts on various sites about a 16v conversion for the 8v DOHC Sapphire.

Does anybody know if there is a kit, or parts available? Comparing the two heads (donor off an RS2000), I will need to modify the inlet and exhaust manifolds, and use the Sapphire rocker cover because of the 'distributor' (where is this fitted on the RS2000?), also the thermostat will need an adaptor pipe to move it from behind the engine in the saph to a more accessable position (I don't want to replace the head if the thermostat fails!)

I think the people cahnge the whole engine. A friend of me fit the the 2.3l 16v engnine from scorpio/granda into his sierra.
the rs2000 use a distributerless system i think with a crankpostion sensor
