i have never seen so few cosworths for sale on pistonheads ,about 4 year ago it was always between 80 to 100 cars ,in the last few months 40 to 50 and today i had a look [as you do] and i was shocked to see only 17

is it pistonheads,time of year ,ebay, or something else causing this ?

Still quite a few on the bay last time I looked (2 days ago), maybe people don't like to advertise on there so much now as they keep changing the fucking layout of the site and noone likes it so don't bother visiting?

Ye thats been around, does make you wonder why? Can't imagine that its been badly built, maybe just too expensive for most dreamers?

 

I remember the build thread it was really nicely done and iirc the original guy sold then it was stripped of all its good bits then re sold again and again

 

That car is very local to me seen it out and about once and posted on here asking if it was anyone and had no replies.

 

Killing off the free ads version on it has destroyed the classifieds on that site,I went looking for a cheapy about 6 months back in the pistonsheds section and there were about 10 cars on it whereas there used to be about 300!!!

Never really bothered exploring the site other than the Jason Plato thread which was class.

theres a few of each on ebay plus i know where theres a mint ash black escy cossie small turbo more or less standard all its life 10k and no one has even bothered to view it let alone put a offer in and it is real nice

 

The reason is quiet is because

1, the new layout is crap ( how did i manage to keep that so tame )

2, the new prices are a fooking joke

Everyone has tried telling them the new layout is shite but they come up with crap resons why it had to change , when the real reson is the IT lot are justifying there jobs

 

He mustn't have looked here then, mines up at 10k which is incredibly reasonable

I noticed the low amount for sale as well! Piston heads used to be quality but it's really gone downhill since they started charging and changed the layout! Doesn't help the fact it's winter and all the decent cossies will be tucked up! Wrong time of year to sell IMO!

 

A mate of mine owned this earlier this year, its crying out for a decent spec drivetrain and someone to put their own stamp on it, i.e a colour change.

 

yeh it looks gash tbh just a ripped off repsol design that was never pretty in the first place but like you say if it was a plain nice colour i think it would sell easier to
