500 degrees, not a chance that will last.
manifolds can glow well, well in excess of 500, more like 700-800 degrees+

No paint will survive on a turbo manifold. At least not one where the engine runs

My paint holds just fine on both turbo and exhaust manifold. My car makes near enough 600 bhp and gets used on track.

The paint looks a bit greyer in shade now than when it was new, but is still there

Best part of all, it cost me £6.99

Pass, not got the can any more to compare it with. I thought it was B&Q own brand but can't see it on the site.

This stuff I also have, but haven't used it so can't give feedback, I would expect it to last as well as the old stuff I used. Will find out in a few months when my car goes back on the road.
