Can I simply rotate the compressorhousing in relation to the turbinehousing if I undo the v-band that clamps both the turbine and compressor together?

I need to rotate the compressor outlet upwards for ease of installation see....

What turbo is it ?

The centre section should be able to rotate within reason, as long as oil goes in the top and out the bottom

The compressor cover should be free to rotate anywhere you want

 

You will need to sort out the wastegate actuator mounting position and the preload if the actuator is mounted on the compressor housing. It's no biggie if you have a decent boost gauge but it is something you need to take into consideration.

 

It's the compressorcover I need to rotate, the centre section will stay put!

I need to relocate the actuatormounting anyway because of the the fitment on the bike, space is an issue...
