Default VW Polo R WRC

Speechless....

What a shame Fords pulling the plug when this little beauty is finally coming the WRC.

1.08 seconds onwards...

I know it's 2011 but well worth a watch...

Dat 2 testing...

I don't watch a lot of rallying these days to compare it to, but that seems absolutely ballistic.

Cheers,

WRC motor in something that weighs about as much as a peanut. Thing is going to be mental as long as they have right driver to pedal it.

It doesnt seem as "fluid" or easy to drive as the wrc fiesta, tho thats probly down to the fact it was still in the testing stages, but it still looks promising! Gotta love the anti-lag too, sounds like a machine gun!

It is a shame ford are pulling out tho, but they havent had the best year have they :-/
Not as good as that french bloke in a Citroen anyway

I haven't watched wrc for years but is that amount of suspension travel the norm? Just something about that polo that looks like it's got twice the suspension travel I've ever noticed, when it's going over the jumps it looks like 4 legs appear to cushion it gently. When they jack it up at the start it's two foot off the ground with the tyres still touching down lol.
