Well first off which engine bay you using? secondly why not bin the junk cvh head and fit the zetec-e 16v head with a de-comp plate? (doing a zvh turbo conversion is only for those who all ready have the cvh fitted if your going to fit a zetec-e/r into a diffrent car you should fit the whole unit)

i think you misunderstod what i ment.
zvh is a mix of two engines a cvh top end and a zetec-e II bottom end.
zvh is only normal done to engines that are already running cvh engines to upgrade them quickly but since hes putting the engine into a total diffrent engine bay he mite as well go for the full zetec-e II engine to make the most of the power.

(hes fitting it into a fiesta 2000 shell where it needs some work to make it fit so he mite as well go the full wack and have a 16v head on the engine rather than the 8v head)

Default re: zvh in mk5 fiesta

HI,

He is actually fitting this into my fiesta. The reason why we are fitting a zvh is bceuase its one that been built by grove garage and has about 360bhp. The CVH head has had lots of work done on it.

So the question remains re: the wiring as it has now been completely fitted bar that. (Gearbox from courier van, custom driveshaft and engine mounts, power steering removed...etc)

The wiring we have is the engine loom from RS turbo that the ZVH was originally in. I have read somewhere that you dont need to remove r touch any of the zetec loom just splice in bits of the ZVH loom from the RS. But just dont know where to start
