Oh, i was thinking of covering it to prevent the snow and bird shit etc etc...
Maybe i'll just leave it and wash it every now and then

i cover mine up every winter with a waterproof/breathable cover from ebay, always give it a good polish/wax first then cover up, when time comes to uncover it looks just as good as when it was covered

I'd leave it uncovered but in as sheltered an area as possible. Damp will get under any cover of a car parked outside and will end up doing more harm than good IMO!

I'd like to cover it ideally, to stop prying eyes and weather/bird damage. I had it covered last year and the cover blew off leaving 2 scratches over the car . So if i can get a decent enough cover secured well on the car i would prefer to cover it...

You not going to tax it then Roger? I'm keeping mine on the road over winter as I barely got to use it in the summer

I remember years ago my dad covered his car up and during the night the cover started flapping in a couple of places and when he took it off the following day it had rubbed down to the primer - still it was a Chrysler Alpine so no great loss.

im on my 4th car cover now lol ive had 2 outdoor silver ones at £60 a pop
both blew away after some time,,, a shitty blue outdoor cover that rubbed the laquer off my old saph and the one i bought last month for my escos at £250
its taylor made and fits the car like a dream tripple layer too also it has proper straps that go under the car to secure it without rubbing the paint off, just wish id bought it years ago now

Matt - Im toying with the idea, ive got some bits i wanna do to it. But if i do use it, it will only be at weekends, so i wanna cover it to keep it clean/protect it inbetween. Ive done nearly 5,000 miles in mine in 6months, so i can't say i havn't enjoyed it lol!

Chip - That cover looks pretty snug. Id def go for something like that!

Ive found a cover for £150odd thats tailor made for a Mk2 Orion, so im toying with the idea of that atm.
