Default Hit a car!! Need help

Hello
My car rolled back into a car!! An damaged the rear pas door.
I was just wondering if there was any breakers of the type of car that i hit to get a door skin for it
The cars an Audi a4 b7 shape 05 plate
Any help chaps!!

Just offer them the money to repair or that's what your insurance is for.

my excess is Ł700 so he gave me the option of repair it or insurance!!! i make only enough money to pay my way as it is so trying to save some cash! An christmas coming up aswell im f**ked

Ah right... Well your a lucky man that he's gave you the option... Best way and hassle free is to get a quite for it repaired mate.

look on the dreaded bay might be worth the fuel to pick one up off somthing decent rather than a scrap yard special what colour is it?

Yeah hes not bothered really as he's minted! But would just like the car to look ok again which is really nice of him as i was bricking it im in the trade so i would be doing it myself just need to find a skin for it.

you don;t pay your excess to repair someone elses car only if you have repairs done to your own.

has it broken the paint? if not try dent master.

its a blue lol i kinda need to ask what actual colour it is. but yeah you got the idea i would just pick one up an fit it but theres none on the egay that i can see

A policy excess is the amount of an insurance claim you must pay if your car is lost, stolen or damaged. You only pay the excess for damage to your own car. You do not have to pay the excess for damage to someone else's ...

That might be my next port if ithe door thing doesnt go though but ive only just brought the car an got insurance for it so would that matter?? im not clued up on this stuff this is my first accident that i was involved in damn handbrake!!

Bargain mate, get the colour code and it'll be a simple door swap that a bodyshop can do pretty quickly and then it's just swapping over the gubbins and trim

Make sure you get a bare door aswell, i noticed the link above was selling them complete. If these are still like the B6 doors the window runners and frame screws off at each side and slides out, so should be cheap cheap!!
