Contact compressor racing, they usually have some sort of holset in stock.

They had some hy35s on ebay last week.

Only problem with fitting to a cossie is that most are external wastegate.

Hx35s are good for 600bhp.

More info the hy35s here

I think I have read somewhere before that the car in that video is only about 400bhp Mat, its just the Skogen nutters driving them that makes them look a bit more mental. I like the Pinto they ran a Holset on, it looks bloody good fun

Not to fussed over power mate... Just to be different and it sound different is what I'm wanting... Surely it's got to be a better turbo than a old garret.

I think they run external gate on them, possibly why they sound different? Would be interesting to see if there were any differences in how the car drives with a Holset instead of the Garrett, to see if it changes any characteristics of how they come on boost etc.

Haha its something Ive thought about doing for years, however like many Ive just stuck with the "norm" and never ventured out of the box. They must work well or the Swedish nutters wouldnt use them

Go for a HY35 and then get an external gate (Same as the HX but no internal wastegate)

I spent many happy hours (and many not so happy too) working for Holset years ago - saw some proper engine/turbo failures on the dyno beds in the development center

Deffinatly order one through compressor racing. Theres so many versions of each turbo that unless you know what to look for you end up with something totally unsuited for your spec.

Compressor racing ussually make up their own hybrid turbos that are better suited for car engines.

Copied from drift works.

Good for over 500bhp and with the ideal and rare as fuck 10cm turbine housing (about .73 a/r), is pretty much what I use on my RB20, and would be a weapon on a SR, RB, 1JZ, etc.

Considering it's a beast of a turbo, it spools like fuck, I see boost under 3000rpm and full boost by 4000rpm on my RB20, and they well known to be worse at spooling turbos than pretty much any other 2ltr, and it's spastically fast too- I can hit 7000rpm in 5th from a 20mph rolling start within 400m! Got to be around 450bhp and it's running 22psi. These are good for 45psi.
7 blade HX35 compressor (ie good for 600bhp no worries), but turbine wheel and housing is a little smaller than a 12cm HX35, but tbh not by much so it might be capable of not much less power, though I'm not sure.
T3 flange.

They internal gate, but TBH 99%
of the world would just wire/weld it shut and run an external gate.

And they sound fucking insane, mega turbo spoolup and spooldown noises.
