Another InterCredit International thread!
Hey guys, you were amongst the first search results for this debt collectors in London who are lap dogs for the DVLA. I need some wisdom as a first time motorist and have only been on the roads just over two years or so. I've been travelling the big wide world since I got my Vespa PX and until 3 weeks ago I have been out of England for 16 months or so. Unfortunetly I came back to an £80 fine ( I didnt SORN my vehicle, I had left it in the hands of my father months before a re tax ) which InterCred are quite adamant I pay. Thankfully I have no fixed address and these have been sent to my mother instead. What is my stance on this? I got a letter today dated 4 days ago saying that if I do not pay within 4 days of the letters date they will commence legal proceedings against me. Should I just ignore this? should I just pay the £80 and be very out of pocket? The bitch on the phone riled me up something fierce and I even said to her that I had no fixed address and if I did not pay she couldnt do anything. Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated.

Yeah I think you're right. I do plan on living elsewhere again but I know as soon as I find work here they'll be right on me for a lot more than £80 eh? Edit : Well I just paid em, I think I just needed a push heh. They're such infuriating people.

Read this, it may be of some use to you (and anyone else receiving fines from DVLA).
