unfinished escort zetec van sold sold sold
here for sale is an unfinished project that since starting my own business i just dont have time to finish, i was gonna break the van as it has some decent parts on it but i would rather some one finish it as i have put a lot of hours in to get it to the state its in, the van is a non runner at the moment but this is only due to the fuel pump and fuel lines not being fitted as i had not yet finished the underside of the van it does however crank over fine so there is no siezed engine or anything like that
the van also has no brake lines fitted to the rear yet though these along with fuel lines and pump are in the back of the van ready to be fitted so due to this it will need trailering away it cannot be towed
the van has been resprayed peugeot agean blue under the bonnet, this was a bare metal respray so you can be assured there is no rot under the bonnet also included in the sale is enough paint to paint the outside of the van
it has a 1.8 zetec engine fitted that has done approx 60 thousand miles and the engine has been painted with the sump, rocker cover and inlet manifold having been powdercoated silver, its got a brand new clutch and cambelt kit fitted plus fresh oil
here is a list of some of the parts fitted which are worth at least £500 + alone
low mileage efi 1.8 zetec fitted plus will throw in a spare engine too
series 2 rs turbo recaro seats with no rips or worn bolsters albiet very dusty lol
18 inch alloys that have only covered approx 300 miles on the tyres however a couple of the wheels do have minor curb marks
escort cosworth headlamps and side lamps
2 sets of rs2000 sideskirts so they can be extended to fit the van sills
rs2000 front bumper complete with indicators and fog lamps which are rare to find (the lamps)
it also has some new parts like droplinks wheelbearings etc... and probably lots ive forgot about
it also has electric windows and central locking fitted too and a brand new petrol injection fuel tank made specifically for an escort van not the usual cut and shut diesel tanks this is over £100 on its own
the van has been soundeadened with dynamat type stuff inside the cabin area all up behind the dash and even on the bulkhead on the engine bay side so should be pretty quiet in there when on the road

no tax or mot as has been off the road for years
needs a little bit of welding around the rear shock towers and has had shockers removed to do this but ive just never got round to it everywhere else is solid on the van allthough it has been welded in the past in all the usual places
needs a few bits to finish like rear bumper exhaust and a few other minor bits all easily sourced though
if i remember anything else ill put it up during the week as well as some pictures of the underside and welding that requires doing
im after £500 or nearest offer if its not gone in a week or so ill break it as ill get over £500 that way
