Help with front end set-up escort mk1/capri
Hello all hope i can source some help on this please
Have got a mk1 escort camper with capri front legs & breaks ect
I have just bought some new capri incerts due to the old ones being f***cked + they were both diffrent/odd, anyway once all items were striped of the car i noticed the tops of the inserts were diffrenf from the pure round on the origanal ones to the D shape tops on the capri new inserts which has made the project stop due to the top spring cup & bearings ect dont fit over the larger D type tops
What do people do about this as i have seen alot of people do the capri set up on mk1's and would like her back on the road asap

bilstein only came as standard on the capri 2.8s and a lot of us old skool ford boys have used them on the MK1/2 escorts over the years so your best bet would be to get hold of
a set and fit them first as last and even better if you can get them with the hubs and callipers the buy a new set of capri 2.8 vented discs
