I have an 1989 Escort mk4 1,3 popular and after much restoration it is near perfect. The only problem is that my carburetor air intake valve has a 1.6seconds delay between the accelerator being fully depressed and the engine responding to the change. the petrol is still released as its supposed to but the air isn't keeping up. Is there a way to make everything respond quicker???
