Default thinking of buying an ST170

and wondered what the usual problems are with them? what to look out for etc?
Do they rust? etc etc..

Me too but all the decent priced ones are miles away from me!!!! Think the usual rust spot will be arches and bottoms of the doors. No sure of any other major issues with the exception of being greedy on the juice and slow as feck lol

lol thanks for that....not sure they are that slow...depends on what your used to i guess, but your not the 1st to say they are a bit thirsty...!

they are not as bad as earlier fords for rust thats for sure usual places are on the tailgate near the grab handle, the biggest thing to check on these is the clutch, as it will set you back £700 if its shagged or on the way out, and check the engine over with detail for leaks knocks bangs etc so give it a raod test before parting with any money,
