hi people just a question i have a mondeo 53 reg and its got a problem,it starts and drives then after a few miles it cuts out an wont start again the glow plug light is flashing,but after getting back home the car starts again is this safe mode or something am confused it was working fine then this has happened it is being put on diagnostic machine today

it a 2.0 diesal tcdi common rail

Let us know what the fault code says - Be wary of agreeing to ANY work by the garage, as most places just guess with it comes to TDCis!

 

the fault codes has come back as the camshaft position sensor

code PO340 SIGNAL NONE CONTINUOS

 

Common, cheap and straightforward fix! You're lucky. Get a new CPS, and job done!

 

cheers mate ya got it for 15 quid on me mates account at quicko other wise it would of cost me 27 quid cheeky fookers they are
