Hi i'm new here,

I have a 2000 Ford escort 1.6.

Everytime i depress my clutch the car misfires/ cuts out...

Ive been looking on google and some of them says it could be throttle plate could need cleaning.. i think its a sensor or an air valve pipe is blocked.. Any other advise would be really appreciated..

 

I had the same problem on my mk6 1.6 finesse and after ages of pissing about my mate said it could be the air flow sensor, got one from a local scrapy for £5 swapped it over and cleaned all the pipe up and it done the trick hope this helps but it could be anything Mechanics are pretty strange at times
