Having found 2 new doors for the combi, all the doors have got electric mechanisms.

Is there a way of converting these to manual? as the combi has the basic loom with no electric windows on

 

You can either wire up the electrics or change the mechanism over for manual.

 

if the door wiring if there you can get the e/w loom for behind the dash and just plug it in, get soem switched and door pulls and you have e/windows
while you are at it get the e/mirror and c/locking looms and you have a luxury combi

i have an xr3i with no leccy options im about to upgrade
i recently sold all the leccy gear from a cabbie too lol

 

It's only on a basic loom so till the dash is out i wont know.. was hoping you could just work a handle onto the mechanism but guess not

 

the mech is just fitted or swapped
electric windows have their own little loom and away you go, all escort looms have the power point and everything just slots in and done

 

Cool, i'll be getting the looms with the doors so will have a play
