MK3 Mondeo Interior Lights
Hi,
Apologies for the potentially stupid question, but here goes anyway...
I've just bought my first Mondeo (2.0 LX Auto, 2005), and the interior lights don't come on when the doors are opened.
Is this normal, or do I have a problem ?
All my previous card have had courtesy lights, but these lights only work wen the buttons are pressed.
Any help appreciated....
Steve

Have you got front and rear lights?
And are they the single light or the single central light with the 2 outer map reading lights?
I can't see an obvious reason they shouldn't work as they are triggered by the same switch that tells you the doors are closed

Hi,
I only have front lights with map lights to the sides, although they don't seem to work either (or I don't know how to turn them on).
Do I just need a new light cluster ?
Thanks
Steve

One of the wires may have just come out or it's popped a fuse
On the phone at the moment so can't look at the site you need to ask on for all the wiring diagrams etc

There is probably a solution on one of the wiki pages if you can navigate your way around them
