Full brake fluid change & bleeding S2 ERST
Hi guys,
I'm doing a complete brake fluid change to DOT 5.1 and bleed on my S2 Escort Turbo. Its had the ABS removed also. Just wondered if anyone knew exactly how much fluid it takes to completely bleed it and change it over i.e. filling cylinder, calipers, pipes and brake res etc?
I've read about 1200ml somewhere, but just want to be sure before I start the job and to make sure I've got enough
*FYI my car has no rear brake compensators or ABS. It has a Wilwpod bias valve for the rear*
Also am I right in thinking that when bleeding it I start at drivers rear, then passenger rear, then drivers front and finally passenger front, with the back wheels on the floor of course! (Not sure if the back wheels on the floor part matter as it has no compensators now?!?)
Any input welcome
