Im painting some moonstone blue paint colour looks spot on in the tin but when painted it doesn't seem to have that tint that you normally get with it? Iv painted on top of grey primer is this the right base to spray on to? I no some paints you have to use white or even heard of black or could it be the paint doesn't have enough toner/tint? It's 2k base an Lacquer I'm using.

You have stirred it thoroughly haven't you?

 

with some metalics you need a final drop coat to get the true colour and finish. depends who makes the paint so check the tds
