Default Foreign trucks on uk roads

Foreign trucks finally going to have to pay to drive on UK roads.

I really can't understand why its taken so long for them to consider this, especially
since we have to pay to drive in other European countries.

I think we need to go one further and combat the amount of European cars that are over here as well, Many of them are here full time and work here but drive LHD motors on Euro plates to avoid tax and get the benefit of cheaper insurance back home

Bloke at work used to do this

It cost him £8 a year to insure his Toyota igo fully comp for a year in some eastern European country

If I could do that and get away with it I would, and I'm not sure why more people don't

2 guys at mine do a similar thing, Every 6 mths they have the cars sent home on a trailer and sent back to the uk just to show the car has been out the country.
It must still work out cheaper than having a UK car or they wouldn't do it.
