How easy to swap engines over on these?

I am potentially going to buy a very cheap 02 van with a blown engine. I can get an engine from a Y reg (2000) van.

Easy to do - front wheel drive jobbie? Is the earlier engine much different anciliary wise to the later one?

Not sure if one is mechanical and then one FBW?

Not sure on differences but easy swap mate!

 

I'm sure it is - the blown one is only a short engine still in the van as head and one piston knackered. Not desperate to get it or get it running immediately if I do.
