Car was taken of a drive in potters bar area last night between 8pm and 9:45pm, car is petrol blue with a big turbo conversion stage 3 and rondells, any info please contact me.

Edit I just checked there is only 17 miles difference in the areas. Too much of a coincidence.

same crew without a shadow. that van in the other thread is quite distinctive, id get as many people in the area off here and other sites to keep an eye out for that van. its easy to assume the mk1 and cossie will be moved in the small hours but id keep a look at less obvious hours. cars on beaver tails covered up in the daytime ect, follow them. theres a good few in the london area who could maybe keep a look out for signs of car theft. also cctvalong likely routes may give a reg of the van from the mk1 theft.

In future guys get all your parts sent to another address to rule this one out. People selling didgy parts on ebay get all the detail they need from you buying parts so they know where to find there next car

Car was apparently stolen around 3am, 2 large pikey camps close by.
Another Cosworth owner was followed by apparently the same van some time before, they stopped the car and got out to ask the driver of the van why they was following them. Driver reported he was lost.

Was also spotted on the back of a breakdown truck yesterday around 1pm. Whoever seen it managed to loose it???

 

I work in hatfield/st Albans so will keep a eye out for this.the dirty barstards...

Whats needed is a few people sat in the back of a van opposite a drive which has had a nice RS planted on the drive.

Its obviously some one who knows you both, may be even uses this and other sites.

 

yeah, the freind of a freind raises alarm bells. i think based on the amount of cars been taken its a crooked breaker or broker between various breakers. id look at pikeys aswell but id suspect it more likely localish scum. i know ireland has a big mk1/mk2 following but the same group have taken various fords recently, escos/xr3/mk1 and it sounds like a few more cossie owners have been followed.

Make sure all cars are secured left in gear steering on full lock with lock that covers whole steering wheel or a wheel clamp
