Fully Restored Escort RS Turbo 1989 ****SOLD SOLD SOLD****
Hello up for sale is my 1989 Escort Rs Turbo which has just undergone a full 2 and a half year restoration. No rust here! Fully stripped to bare shell and restored up to what it is now. lots of new parts and almost every nut and bolt replaced. This is a stunning motor which she being completed has only covered 20 miles.
Spec As Follows:
Engine: engine fully overhauled. with new head gasket, new sump and magnetic sump plug, oil pump,water pump, belt tensioner and belt, Polished bottom pulley, Camshaft, poilshed throttle body and crossover pipe,new dizzy cap and arm, Breather system upgraded, Polished rocker cover, T3 turbo, new leads, samco hoses, bailey dump valve,
new header tank,polished inlet manifold and throttle bracket. new clutch cable,Battery, Airtec front mount intercooler, pace alloy rad, swirl pot. LSD gearbox, Ap racing Clutch with skimmed flywheel
Fully restored 100% solid shell. any rot or rusted panels have been romoved and replaced. Standard look fitted with correct spec bumpers ect for year of car, early 89 so was still
fitted with 88 spec bumpers and spolier. Roof has no rust patches or bubbles and is fitted with the tilt sunroof. Arches rot free and solid all round. Finished in Radient Red paintwork
which looks stunning, underside of the car has been took back and primed and painted Red to match. Brand new heated front screen, brand new headlights and indicators,
new bonnet catch and latch, polished bonnet hinges, new 80s style badges front and back and new ford dealer plates fitted.
Wheels and tyres: Reconditioned standard wheels and brand new toyo tyres
Interior: Standard Spec. 90 spec interior in very good condition, brand new headlining fitted. mint dash no cracks or holes. carpet and trim very clean. front inner door handles recondioned and look like new, no tatty scrached ones here!
original radio and amplifer fitted. chrome seatbelt anchors.
Underside: Full Scorpion exhaust system, powdercoated tank, tank strap, all rear and front suspension, standard mint fuel pump cradle
standard suspension allround with -30mm apex springs, Poly bushed throughout, all new brakelines, Brand new ford fuel pipes
New steering rack, Reconditioned brake servo. new dicks, pads, rear shoes. reconditioned gear linkage. The underside of the car is stunning and is perfect for anyone wanting a show car ect.
Have probably missed some bits and bobs out but this car is stunning.
The car has just been professionally set up and rolling roaded. its running a safe 6psi of boost and produced 153.3 bhp.
Ł5000 OR OFFERS ARE CONSIDERED. Alot of time and money has gone into this car and close to 10k has been spent on it.
Reason for selling is that im moving abroad in novemeber and i cant take it with me so it needs a new home.
