Warrior is a 16v twincam head conversion for a pinto, before the Cosworth 16v head

was available I believe.

Looks lovely, although I would have stuck the battery in the boot and fitted a bias pedal box.

from what i remember from many years back was that warrior done a head conversion to make the pinto twin cammed and 16 valved,along with porting and big valves etc made the pinto a flying machine for its time.going back 20 + years.

 

Yes it was designed for rally cars back in the day and still used today.

 

I'm not disputing it's a lovely car because it does look really nice but I'm sure for 25k you could give some more info for interested parties. I know if they're genuinely interested then they'll phone but with the best will in the world Ł200 cars get some info.

engine:fully rebuilt 2.1 steel bottom end with warrior head and weber alpha throttle bodies engine done 600 miles with all new ancillaries pushing 238bhp.Built by connaught race engines in sittingbourne.
gearbox longer 1st gear and strengthened with ap clutch
quiffe rear diff with quite 2 piece shafts.
front coil overs with ultra light callipers
body all brand new ford panels bonnet,wings,nose,cone,doors,boot,quarters,inner wings the whole lot brand new ford parts.when building the car we wanted a better than original finish.
All the parts new are all lights,mirrors,glass,rubbers,spoilers,switches,ret rimed beta cloth seats,new door panel new washer bottle new master cylinder even new locks with genuine keys the list goes on this car needs to be seen cost thousands to build and 23 years.

 

this rs 2000 has got to be one of the best specked road going escorts about and is a real credit to the builder,you dont see many rs 2000,s for sale these days in this sort of condition,someone will be getting a special car when they buy this,i just wish i still had mine from 25 years ago.
