all running gear from an old escort MK1 or 2, prob be easier too use a whole mk1or2 floor pan

If you dont go floor pan then you'll need T5 box (if your running big power) or sierra gearbox and have too fab a tunnel for gearbox and prop shaft,diff etc.. mk1/2 rear axle prop shaft diff etc

Am I missing something but isn't this an escort cosworth he is talking about converting?

Why would u use mk1 and mk2 bits?

yeah sorry fella didnt notice thought it said escort! lol

front legs hubs 2wd, T5box but not sure if you'll have to open tunnel up to accomodate a T5box

Cheers guys. What about the anti rol bar on the front and lower arms etc because the one i have seems to push the wheels to far forward??

T5 box fits no problem its smaller than the mt75
You just need an auto cradle

You can get away with using the std front hubs too. Friend of mine was going to do this to a 4x4 saph and had cut the ends off the driveshafts and made them into 'blanking plugs' instead. Not sure on the specifics but it is possible and if you are on a budget would save you cash.

I have been very busy lately but i have managed to get all the underside painted and powdercoated back on its wheels, I have taken photos but theres not much to see just yet.

I had started a thread on here about it ages ago but its been slow. Im half way through priming the outside now ready to be painted inside out in nissan bayside blue.

There will be a build thread as soon as i have abit more progress
