God I had one of those as a first car

 

anyone remember the one they had on fifth gear that they had lotus tune just for the sake of it?

 

The sheep skin seat covers and the spanner are pushing the price of this up to some tune...

 

That wasn't fifth gear it was top gear

Imagine , full race suit / top spec helmet / race boots / gloves , the fookin lot and what do you pull out of the race shuttle

drive it like ya nicked it ,,,,,,,,,,,,,for 2 laps and it blows up , lol

 

You could make these handle as the basics are already there 3 link rear end and wishbone front end

 

It states reserve not met, can't imagine anyone paying much more for it, it needs a lot of work and who knows what's under the seat covers, trim could be shot

 

I have a bit of a geeky fascination with Commie Bloc cars for some reason. Trabant's are ace and in my opinion Lada Niva's are better than Land Rover defenders (Was the only car I was comfy in while being driven to and from hospital with a bashed arm )

 

My grandfather had one very similar but 1600cc and all jokes aside it was a good car only problem he ever had was the ignition switch and ...rust! Much better built than the later rubbish.

 

My 1200s had a cranking handle to start it with if the start went belly up
