hi all my missus has been nagging me for 12 months that she want to sell her corsa and get a st we looked at one today its a 54 plate with 90k on the clock im just wondering when the chains need doing or are they a non service part and are there any things to look out for (common faults ) cheers grant

 

AFAIK it's just an inspect for wear at 100k!

 

yes the chain will be fine allthough coming from a vauxhall i can understand your concern seeing as vauxhall dont know how to make a chain last longer than 30k

 

Only real things that wear on them are the plastic guides but it does take a hard life to wear them
