Default how to get a bit more out of a 1.8 focus

Hi guys i,m thinking of selling my fiesta rst and buying a 1.8i focus at the grand old age of 51 i've had enough of keep tweeking the rs ever 5mins lol, i like the focus but want to know the best way of getting a bit more out of it without having to sell my house any info would be a great help

What year is it because it's not to hard to replace the whole engine on mk1 x mk2 focus and the 1.8 and 2.0 are pretty much identical and everything will fit with no modifications !

its a 2004 but i did'nt really wanna mess around like that i was thinking of things like chipping.exhaust,induction kit and so on

421+decat aswell as a full stainless + induction kit would be a good start. But a 421 + decat is well worth it on any zetec.

remove the spare wheel lol!on a serious note dont bother you will be spending lots of wonga for very little gains

Wouldn't spend a penny on it. Any gains will likely be costly and minimal if you want more buy a more powerful one to start with.
