My brakes on my fiesta are in some serious need of replacement I put my reg in on Euro Car Parts and it gave me a choice of solid or vented brake discs. As I've had the brakes go weak going down hill with 4 people in it before I thought I would get vented, but according to the mechanic I spoke to if I've not already got vented, they won't fit?

My car is an early MIV 1.25 Ghia.

 

No they won't fit as the discs are thicker on vented, you could get some caliper of a scrap fiesta with vented discs and swap them over.
