Default 2000 Mondeo 1.8 zetec, ideal run around £350

Selling my Mondeo that i've owned for the last 8 1/2 years.
It's now covered 173k but still starts, drives and runs spot on.
10 months mot and 2 months tax.
Only advisories last year on the MOT were osf steering rod and rear brake lines corroded.
So i fitted a new steering rod and track rod end, Dropped the fuel tank and replaced all the brake lines from the front of the floor all the way to the rear cylinders.
Interior is very very clean,
There is some scratches, car park dints here and there and the rear arches are a bit rusty but it could serve someone as it has for me using as a work horse etc.
Full st kit from the factory, st150 17" alloys fitted.
Heated front screen replaced 3 years ago, electric front windows, electric mirrors, tow bar and electrics.
I recently did a 300 mile round trip towing my trailer and fiesta turbo and it didn't skip a beat but i wouldn't recomened too much heavy towing as it's never had a clutch in my ownership.
It was registered CAT C 6 years ago when an old boy drove down the side of it damaging the passenger headlamp, wing and doors so i kept it and replaced the items from a donor car the same colour.
I didn't realise that cars require an identity check once registered Cat C and only found out recently but that is booked and paid for for 10.30am on 11th September. i know they'll be no problem as it's not been rung etc! All they do is check the floor numbers and id hasn't been tampered with!

Gotta be worth £350 hasn't it? Or give me £400 and i'll give you 5 new tyres!

I can meet you halfway.....Say Bedford?

I have a car so you can get back and also give you some cash and this car if you want.......

Its my girlfriends 1998 106 Quicksilver.

MOT till October 16th 2012
Tax till November 30th 2012
101,452 Miles (Going up daily)

Electric windows
Central locking
Power steering
Alloys
Air-bag
Kenwood CD player with Aux outlet.

Service history stamped in the original Peugeot service book....

6,162
16,112
27,030
35,226
43,280
52,049
57,909
68,998
75,558

She had a full service at 99,870. This included....Airfilter, Oil (10-40 Castrol) Oil Filter, NGK Plugs. Also the throttle body was cleaned as was the idle control valve.

She is a great car, fun to drive, nippy yet good on fuel being the 1.4i 8v. Cheap Tax and cheap to insure. Interior is like new, bodywork comes up well after a good wash and wax.

Now to be very honest and tell about the not so good bits!!

She can be a sod regarding gear changes that can be rather stiff to engage, but sometimes the gearchanges are fine and engage with no troubles at all? She has a rather bad judder when pulling away in 1st?. After reading up on the net some have said this is the clutch release bearing?

My mechanical knowledge is pretty much useless so I cant say exactly what it is.

Also the passenger body kit arch is held on with silicone, it was like this when we bought it. I dont know if the new keeper can use some original clips or
whatever they are held in with to put it back to normal or just leave it as we have. Front bumper on the drivers corner has a little crack. Body work needs a good T-cut and some touching up from stonechips.

She is a 1998 car so has a few minor war wounds, nothing that bad though.

All in all a very good cheap little fun car.

Let me know your thoughts on this mate.
