Default TDCi Injectors or something else.......basically Help!! LOL

Heres a strange one i could do with some help on please: I have a 2002 Mondeo TDCi 115 Ghia X.....been running okay and used daily, then last December the injectors played up. Had them changed, again all good. Now this week again they played up....took back to the garage that repaired them (shower of s*** they were!) who told me that the seals had gone - which apparently were not replaced originally as they dont have to be! They change them, car runs better...BUT management light still on, and lack of power still. NOT a lack of power as in 'safe mode' but lack of power as in it feels like turbo isnt kicking in (can you tell i am not a mechanic! ) Anyway, this cruddy garage are at a loss - even suggesting it was contaminated fuel (which didnt go down well with Tesco) And now they suggest having it in and stripping it down at my cost.

Any ideas or help or advice would be helpful please

As i am considering trading the car in (even thou i love it) i just want to get it running right and the management light off.

If the management light is on, one should be able to read a fault code.
Which code(s) are present at the moment? (Preferably complete with number.)

Hi Oldford, thanks for your reply.
The AA came up with 2 fault codes originally - P1631 (main relay power hold) and P2338 (cylinder 3 knock)
I had a diagnostic done by a secondary garage before i went back to the originally garage, and this provided also P1631 and P2338, however also suggested P0100 (mass air flow sensor) P0203 (injector circuit malfuntion cylinder 3) P0204 (injector circuit malfunction cylinder 4) and P0202 (injector circuit malfunction cylinder 2) !!

However when i returned to the original garage who supplied the injectors, they told me it was reading the fault codes because the seals were broken and therefore the sensors were not reading correctly

Ehhh? Which sensors were not working correctly?
Remember that the fault codes (p0202, P0203 and P0204) on the injectors have to do with the electrical connection.
The codes have nothing to do whether or not the injector is even injecting fuel or leaking or whatever. At least 3 injectors are having electrical problems, probably an open circuit.

The P2338 is usually incorrect coding of the injector or it needs a new one.

I think you need to consult another garage/dealer. Over here we have specialist diesel centers, like Bosch. Don't know if you have them?
