Welcome to the sale of my one of a kind BMW 2002 Turbo with a twist.
I am purely testing the water to see if I can get some of the money back that I have put into this car, I really do not want to sell this car but I’m looking to move house soon and this may well mean losing the garage space that this car sits in and current work commitments mean I am struggling to get any time to work on the car.
The car started as a base model 1602 which I purely bought for the shell with the intention of building my own twist on the 2002 Turbo of which grew arms and legs and has grown into what you see today.
This car owes me an insane £35k to get it to this stage so please bear that in mind with any offers etc.
This is an unfinished project and it breaks my heart to let it go at this stage.
This not your run of the mill project built over night, this has taken 18months of bloody sweat and tears and daily work not just by myself but by a dedicated bodyshop.
If it does not sell then I will be forced to pay for secure storage and try and complete the car at a later date.
I have built this car from a bare shell up and the car is as solid as you will ever get with ZERO rust and I mean ZERO.
The underside of the car was taken back to bare metal and then coated in 3M Sealer (same as new BMW’s) and then painted white.
The car has had zero expense spared and pretty much everything is new and genuine BMW Parts.
The entire 2002 Turbo Body kit (arch flares, front spoiler, rear boot spoiler) is all genuine BMW parts and are all brand new, all rubbers and trim etc are gain brand new and genuine BMW.
Body wise this car is in brand new condition and is fully painted inside and out, the 2002 Turbo decal kit is again genuine BMW.
The total cost to restore the bodyshell to what you see has cost me £18k and that’s just to do the bodywork, the bodywork took 6 months to carry out and was done by one of the best classic body shops in Scotland and I have pictures of every step.
Total cost in panels, trim parts, rubbers etc stands me at £9k.
Now for the engine:
I have fitted the engine and 5 speed box from a BMW 318ti (M44) compact but have had extensive work carried out to the engine and the engine is now a one of a kind Turbo charged beast.
This is a low compression engine and runs stand alone VEMS management which alone cost £1700 and has pretty much every add on possible.
The engine work is hugely custom and I will gladly talk it through with anyone interested over the phone, the engine does run BUT WILL require mapping, this is something I had planned when the car was 100% complete.
NO Corners have been cut and every single thing done to this car has been done to only the highest standard.
Wheels:
The car has brand new 16” deep dish rims from the states with brand new tyres etc that have never seen the road.
Additional Parts:
There is a brand new heated front screen and so on and plenty other bits and bobs included.
There is things like brand new seats that will be included, these alone were £1500 for the pair.
I could go on for days about what I have done to this car but anyone serious can come and view the car for a proper inspection and make your own mind up.
Performance BMW magazine have already guaranteed a feature for the car and there is no other car like this on the road.
I have a few other BMW’s, one of which a modified 1M and can honestly say this makes the 1M look boring.
I have 100s of pictures of the car, just tell me what you want and i will send them or take them.
To sum it up, if this car needed it, then it got it.
If in doubt ask jaymic the 2002 parts supplier as i feel like i have them on speed dial.
I would put the car at 80% complete and it will need more work and some minor parts, don’t go thinking you will have this on the road in a few days but i am willing to spend time with anyone who wants the car walking over what needs done etc.
You wont get this car on the road in a few days and it is a project for someone that knows there way round a car, I just want to be clear on that.
Open to any questions etc.
The car is located in Aberdeen, Scotland
I am looking for £15k AND NO OFFERS, i will p/x for something of same value or your car plus cash my way, don’t insult me by offering anything less as I don’t have to sell the car and I have spent pretty much double that on the car and I am already doubting selling it.

Thanks for the kind words folks.
I do want to finish the car but with work and family commitments lately i just cant get the time.
I also spend every night worried that something happens to it.
I have had a few good offers for p/x etc but if nothing happens in the next week or so then ill seriously consider perhaps looking for someone to help me get it on the road.

I will take £12k for the car or dare i say it, i will break it.
I just dont have the time to finsih the car anymore and the sale is hard enough
The car comes with a top of line classic additions cover too

I will take a ESCOS or Nice 3dr in p/x or swap.
