anyone got much information on the supervan??

 

think it pretty much lives in beulieu now.. and 'think' it runs a 24v cosworth engine .. sounds awesome

 

cosworth 24v on throttle bodies , i think the chassis was a lola racecar modified with full custom made bodyshell and orginally ran a f1 engine but later got changed to the 24v engine due to running cost etc , its still around 300+bhp and goespretty well

always thought it used gt40 running gear and cosworth formula 1 engine.

 

I thought that van has the f1 engine and the later super van 3 had the 24v V6 emgine

 

asked another ford nut and he recons its the old 12v 2.9 v6. with turbos??
and the later a version of the 24v with different heads (boa2)?????

 

That's Supervan 1, and was GT40 powered, 400bhp

Supervan 2 ran a Cosworth DFL F1 engine, 500bhp

Supervan 3 originally had a Cosworth HB F1 engine, 730bhp, but then had a Cosworth V6 put in it around 2004

 

Supervan 3 now has a Cosworth 3000 series V6 with a supercharger. 295Bhp a lot of torque and one hell of a bark. A picy from Ford Fair 2011
