hi got a mk2 escort 1600, just put the engine back in it cranks over but got no ignition lights any help would be much appreciated

 

hi mate have you checked that you still have the igntion wires that go to the battery,you should have a thick positive wire and one thin(possibly sometimes 2x) contected to the positive that is what lights up the igntion + battery and oil light on the dash hopes this works if not check connection into the back of dash + earths
