I am about to buy a joining sleeve (temporarily) for middle to middle pipe of a 1990 MK4 XR3i exhaust and just want to make sure I get the right size.
The car is in my garage 3 towns away so I cant just measure it right now.

Any help would be great

Pretty sure it is 1 7/8" diameter.

 

SWEET! thanks mate, sounds about right as the 54mm and 58mm were a fair bit bigger.
I'll order that then (3rd time lucky???) lol
*really need a measuring tape up the garage*
